ABOUT

While born in America, Tammy Shih grew up in Taiwan, where her parents were from, and fell in love with film and the entertainment industry since childhood. She has experience in film development, production, as well as post-production, and has a specific passion for cinematography and photography.

 

During her years in college, she became fascinated with film marketing and has since then participated in promoting several productions she was involved in. To understand more about how the digital and social media platform has changed the marketing landscape in the industry, she is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Entertainment Industry Management at Carnegie Mellon University. 

 

In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, writing, watching films, and photography. Her favourite books include The Tenth Circle by Jodi Picoult and The Price of Salt by Patricia Highsmith. Her favourite films are Shawshank Redemption, Schindlers’ List, and Carol. As an amateur photographer, she particularly likes to take pictures of landscapes and portraits while traveling.
